70% elevator accidents caused by Illegal operations
Recently, AQSIQ announced that more than 72.6% main accidents happened when use special equipment, including Illegal Manufacturing and Maintenance.
With the increasing number of accidents on elevators in Beijing this July, more and more people begin to pay attention on special equipments. It is reported that nearly 113 accidents caused in the first half of this year, while elevator accidents have accounted for 23%. AQSIQ said an analysis on the reason for special equipment is studying, they indicate that to perfect supervision on elevator is in hand. Meanwhile, a comprehensive elevator hidden trouble over grate should be carried out to prevent similar accidents.
